3/4 c white or brown sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1/2 c corn oil
2 c buttermilk

Dry Ingredients
2 1/2 c whole wheat flour
2 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 c all bran

Directions:
Directions:
Pour 1 c boiling water over 3 c all bran. Let stand until cooked. Beat eggs and then add the oil, milk and sugar. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the all bran mixture when it has cooked. Add the buttermilk, eggs etc. mixture to this and mix thoroughly. You may add 1 c of raisins, dates or nuts. Cinnamon and nutmeg are also nice to add to the dry ingredient. Put finished mixture in a big covered dish in the fridge overnight. This will keep for 2 to 3 weeks. Bake at 400ºF for 20 min.
