2 lb pork shoulder cubed
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 c flour
1/4 c vegetable oil
1 c onion finely diced
2 tsp garlic chopped
2 c hot pork or chicken stock
1/4 c parsley chopped
1/2 tsp sage dried
1/4 tsp allspice ground

Directions:

Toss pork cubes with salt, pepper and flour. Saute the onion and garlic in oil until tender. Add the potatoes and carrots to the onion and garlic. Mix well. Add pork cubes and brown over medium heat stirring constantly. Add the pork stock to the pork mixture. Reduce heat to simmer. Add seasonings and cook 30 min. Let cool before using. Roll out pie pastry to about 1/8" thick. cut into 6" rounds. Place 1/3 c of the pork filling in center of each pastry round. Fold in half. Seal inside edges with water. Crimp outside edges with fork. Place pastries onto baking sheet and bake 30 to 35 min in a 425ºF oven
