1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/4 c quick cooking rolled oats
1/3 c light cream
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c slivered green pepper
1 (10 oz) can onion soup
1/2 cup commercial chili sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine beef, rolled oats, cream ,salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce, mixing lightly with a fork. Shape lightly into 6 thick patties. Heat butter and oil in large heavy skillet. Add ground beef and brown well on both sides. Add green pepper, soup and chili sauce. Cover tightly and simmer 20 min turning the meat patties once.
