1 medium head cabbage
1 medium onion
3 ribs celery
3 green bell peppers
3-4 carrots
1/2 tbsp salt
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Chop or grate cabbage, onion, celery pepper and carrots by hand or in food processor. Drain, pressing out all juice. Add salt and let stand 1 hour. Drain again, gently pressing out juice.
Bring vinegar, water, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed to boil; boil 1 minute. Let cool to lukewarm. Pour over vegetables and freeze. This can be frozen several months with no deterioration.
