2 lbs Stewing Beef (or Chuck - Trimmed and Cubed)
1 Onion - Chopped
Salt to Taste
Handful of Sweet Marjoram
5 Carrots - Cut into Rounds
2 Potatoes - Cut into Small Chunks
1 Stalk Celery - Diced
Ketchup
Crisco
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Place cubed beef into a large stock pot. Brown meat, then cover with water and add the chopped onion, salt, and handful of sweet marjoram. Cover and cook on low heat until tender (about 2 ½ hours). When tender, add the potatoes, carrots, celery and just enough Ketchup to color, Cook until tender. While cooking, prepare the dough on a dough mat. Mix a large spoonful of Crisco and add flour until crumbly. Then add water until it holds together. Roll out to ¼ inch thickness and cut into 1 x 1 inch squares. Bring Pot Pie to boil then drop squares in and keep boiling for 25 minutes. Leave lid off and watch so it won't boil over.
