3 or 4 potatoes, peeled
1 onion, chopped
3 carrots, sliced
1-2 stalks celery, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. ground beef
1 can English peas
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can tomatoes, cut up
1 sm. can tomato sauce
3/4 c. ketchup
2 T. mustard
Dash hot sauce (1/8 tsp.)
1 or 2 jalapeno peppers (optional)
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 T. chili powder
1 tsp. thyme
1 c. uncooked macaroni

Directions:
1. Peel potatoes and cut in small chunks. Place potatoes, onion, carrots, and celery in 6 qt. sauce pan. Add about 2 qt. water. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer until vegetables are tender.

2. Cook beef in skillet until brown; drain. Add to potato mixture.

3. Add peas, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, jalapeno peppers, garlic salt, garlic, pepper, chili powder, and thyme. Simmer 30 minutes, adding water if needed.

4. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and add to beef mixture. Simmer for additional 10-15 minutes.

5. Remove jalapeno peppers before serving.
