2 (10 oz.) packages frozen chopped broccoli
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup grated American cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp cooking sherry
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp salt
Dash of pepper
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
]1/4 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw broccoli and drain well. Place broccoli in baking dish. Thoroughly blend together soup, cheese, milk, mayonnaise, sherry, egg, salt and pepper and pour over broccoli.
Combine butter with bread crumbs; sprinkle evenly over broccoli-soup mixture. Sprinkle sliced almonds over crumb mixture. Bake in preheated 350º oven about 45 minutes or until crumbs and almonds are lightly browned.
