6 1/2 c. flour
5 egg yolks
1 egg
3 pkgs. dry yeast
1/3 c. butter, melted and cooled.
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
zest of 1 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Proof yeast in 1/3 c. warm milk which is 110º F with 1/2 the sugar until bubbly about 15 minutes. Beat eggs and added cooled butter and lemon zest. Add yeast to this mixture and stir in flour until stiff dough. Knead on floured board for ten minutes. Put in large greased bowl turning over once to get greasy on top. Cover with Handiwrap and kitchen towel and let rise until doubled in warm draft free place for approximately two hours.
Punch down after doubles and divide into three pieces and place in three bread pans or free form braids or oval loaves set out on greased cookie sheets covering with Handiwrap again until doubled for approximately one hour.
Bake in a 375ºF for approximately 35 to 40 minutes until golden and bottom sounds hollow when tapped.
