2c. Scalded Milk
1 c. Hot Water
3/4 c. Sugar
3/4 c. Shortening
1 TBS Salt
2 Packages of Yeast
2 eggs
8-9 c. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a measuring cup add yeast to hot water(110º) and stir to dissolve.then set aside.Pour warmed milk,shortening,salt and sugar in a large Bowl. Cool to lukewarm. Add Yeast , eggs and 2 c. flour. Stir until combined. Add rest of Flour 2 c. at a time.mixing in between until smooth. Knead 5 min. on a floured surface. Put in a greased bowl, allow to rise until doubled.Punch down and let it rise again. Form into rolls and let rise until double in size. Bake @ 375º for 20 -25 min.

Scalded milk :Heat the milk until it starts to steam and small bubbles start to form around the edges of the pan. * Tip: It’s important not to BOIL the milk.
