2 Cups all-purpose flour. 1 Tablespoons Sugar 1teaspoons baking soda 1/2 teasoons salt 1/4 Cup shortening 1/2 Cups plus 1 Tablespoons fresh grapefruit juice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients:cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.Add grapefruit juice,stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface:knead lightly 4 or 5 times.Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness:cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter.Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet.Bake at 425°F.for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
