1 1/2 C creamed corn
1 C yellow corn meal
1 C melted butter
3/4 C buttermilk
2 medium onions, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 t baking soda
2 C grated cheddar cheese
1 - 4 oz can green chilies, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Grease a 9" square pan.
Combine first 7 ingredients and mix well.
Turn half the batter into the prepared pan.
Cover evenly with half of the cheese and all of the chilies and then remaining cheese.
Top with the remaining batter.
Bake 1 hour.
Let cool 15 minutes before serving.
