2 Granny Smith Applies
2 cans Crescent Rolls
2 sticks of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1 can of Mountain Dew
Cinnamon, to sprinkle
Nutmeg, to sprinkle

Directions:
Directions:
Peel & core apples. Cut apples into 8 wedges each. Open and unroll crescent rolls and lightly sprinkle with nutmeg. Rollup each apple wedge in a crescent roll and place in a 9X13 lightly buttered baking dish.

Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir and pour over apples. Then pour the Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (40-50 minutes.)

This makes 16 dumplings

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Or, eat it out of the pan when no one is looking.
