1/3 cup chopped shallots
3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tsp fresh thyme
Filet mignon steaks

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a large ceramic pan. Trim fat from filets. Marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, turning every 30 minutes.

Preheat broiler.

Pour marinade into a cooking pot. Bring marinade to a rolling boil for 1 full minute.

Broil meat 4 inches from heat for 6 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
