Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large jar of bulk dill pickles
1 bad (1lb) sugar
1 bottle of Tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Get a large (bulk size) jar of whole dill pickles. (You can find them in the bulk section at Walmart). Drain all pickle juice. Take out pickles and slice to desired size; I like them a little chunky so I do apx 1/2". Put the pickles back in the jar- not the juice!!! Add a full bag of sugar to the jar of sliced pickles. Yes, the regular size of granulated sugar. It will get really full. Also add 1 regular size jar of Tabasco sauce. Put the lid back on the jar and let marinade for a min of 24 hours.

Personal Notes:
I like to roll the jar back and forth or turn upside down and back up to shake it up a bit , sporadically. That's the recipe. However, I like to take mine up a notch...

I also add 2-3 Bay Leaves, a few garlic cloves (to your liking 2-4) and a a few whole dried red chilis (or if you don't have that on hand and don't want to buy a bag, just use a few shakes of crushed red pepper flakes (same thing really). It makes the jar of pickles look fancier and taste even better. I like to divide mine up to smaller jars and give some away, but you can leave them right in the jar, or separate. They will last a couple of months. If you want to can them, just add to separate jars and can in a hot water bath to seal.
