1 med. onion, thinly sliced
1/2 med. green pepper, diced
1/2 lb. ground beef (optional, but we always put it in when you were kids)
1-1/3 cups Minute Rice

2 (8 oz.) cans tomatoe sauce
1-3/4 cup (hot..so it doesn't splatter) water
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Directions:

Melt fat in saucepan or skillet (it says butter, but I don't recall using butter..only the grease from the hamburg).

Add: 1 med. onion, thinly sliced
1/2 med. green pepper, diced
1/2 lb. ground beef (optional, but we always put it in when you were kids)
1-1/3 cups Minute Rice

Cook and stir the above over high heat til lightly browned.

Add: 2 (8 oz.) cans tomatoe sauce
1-3/4 cup (hot..so it doesn't splatter) water
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
