2 pounds beef chuck or shoulder roast
3 carrots, cut up into large pieces
1 C celery cut into pieces
1 large onion, sliced
8 oz. tomato sauce
3 T tapioca
1 T sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over to 250º.
Place meat into a 2 quart casserole.
Place vegis on top.
Sprinkle with tapioca, sugar, salt and pepper.
Pour tomato sauce over all.
Bake covered at 250º for 5 1/2 hours.
Stir only once, just before serving.
Serve with boiled potatoes.
