2 - 14 1/2 oz. cans chicken broth
1 - 28 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 - 16 oz. cans butter beans, drained
1 - 15 oz. can sliced potatoes, drained
1 - 8 1/2 oz. can sliced carrots, drained
1/2 pound cooked ham or ham hocks
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 t black pepper

Directions:

In a large pot, combine all ingredients.
Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to low.
Simmer 30 minutes.
