Ingredients:  
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
4 cups peaches (drained if canned, save juice to pour on top)
2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in bottom of pan. Lay peaches on top. Mix sugar and flour and baking powder. Add milk to make batter. Pour over peaches. Pour juice on top (if using canned)

Bake 25-30 minutes at 350.

We would frequently make peach or peach/blueberry cobblers at the end of the summer with fruit from the farmer's market or farm stands along the way to or from our Labor Day weekends in Southhaven, Michigan with Pat Roy.
