Sauce:
1/4 c cornstarch
1/4 c water
11/2 t minced garlic
11/2 t minced fresh ginger 3/4 c sugar 1/2 c soy sauce
1/4 c white vinegar
1/4 c sherry
1 can chicken broth

Meat:
3 lbs chicken breast (cut in chunks)
1/4 c soy sauce
1 c cornstarch
1 egg

2 c sliced green onions
7-8 dried hot peppers (seeds removed)

Directions:
Directions:
Sauce: make and refrigerate. Put all ingredients in a quart jar. Shake.

Meat: Put chicken chunks in a bowl. Stir in egg and cornstarch until chicken in coated. ( will look awful at this point)
Deep fry until chunks are crispy. Drain on paper towel

Place 1 T oil in wok. Sauté for 30 seconds the green onion and peppers.
Sir in sauce. Cook until thick. Add water if this is too thick.

Add chicken to sauce until hot and bubbly.

As this doesn't reheat well eat all in one setting.
