1 lb pork back or side spareribs
1/2 c chicken stock
1 tsp hoysen sauce
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp garlic finely chopped
2 tbsp. brown sugar
Vegetable oil for deep frying.

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse spareribs and cut into 1 inch squares. In a wok or large heavy skillet pour in oil to about 2 inches. Heat to 375ºF. Add spareribs and cook stirring for 5 to 7 minutes until ribs are cooked and meat is no longer pink. Remove ribs to a warm plate. Drain oil from wok. Return wok to heat. Add stock, hoysen sauce, soya sauce and garlic. Bring to a boil and stir in brown sugar. Return ribs to wok. Stir and cook about 5 minutes until sauce thickens and ribs are glazed.
