2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter or half lard & butter
3 cups flour with 2 teaspoons cream or tartar sifted in
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda in 2 tablespoons scorched milk
1 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Directions:

Mix all ingredients; put in ice box to chill. Then roll a little at a time. Cut with cookie cutters and bake on cookie sheets at 375 degrees.*

(*The recipe did not say how long to bake the cookies or anything about decorating them after being cooled.)
