3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 C sugar
1 C whole milk
1 C half and half
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of cinnamon
5 slices white bread, cubed
butter
1 Tbs sugar
Dash of nutmeg (for topping)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Beat eggs; add vanilla and sugar. Stir well. Add milk, half and half, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Place bread cubes in greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Pour liquid mixture over top. Stir slightly; dot with butter. Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon sugar and a little more nutmeg over the top. Bake for about 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
