1 lb. hamburger, uncooked
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. shredded cheese
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 egg
1/2 c. bread or cracker crumbs
salt
pepper
spices to taste (sage, thyme, etc.)
16-18 slices bread

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
2. Trim bread crusts (optional, I never have)
3. Butter bread, place butter-side-down in muffin pans
4. Combine all other ingredients
5. Fill bread tarts with meat mixture
6. Bake for 40min

Great portion sizes to freeze and then pull out a couple as needed for lunches. (Freeze on baking sheets to avoid tarts sticking together. Then place in a large bag or container.)
