1/3 c butter
1/3 c all purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 1/2 c milk
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add cheese and stir until smooth.
