3 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
6 eggs, separated
2 sticks BUTTER
3 cups regular flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. vanilla extract OR (2 tsp. almond extract & 1 tsp. vanilla extract)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each time. Add flour. Add baking soda to sour cream and stir. Add this mixture to butter mixture. Add vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture. Pour into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. (I would check after 1 hour)
