4 1/2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c shortening
3/4 c butter or margarine
3 c sugar
6 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp lemon extract
1 c buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl cream the shortening, butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, vanilla and lemon. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Starting and ending with the dry ingredients.

Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Place in a cold oven. Turn oven to 350 degrees F. and bake for 1 hour or until done.
