Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in a large pan add onions and garlic 20 min before cooling When cool add rice and mix with salt and pepper to taste.

Steam coreless cabbage in Dutch ovens or canners till leaves come off with ease. rinse with cold water and let cool.

Take cool Cabbage leaves and add rice/beef mixture and roll up. Place in roasting pan roll side down.
Mix tomato juice and pickle juice and taste it. You just gotta experiment with the taste I think. I prefer a little more pickle juice. always add more juice if the casserole dries too quickly. 350 degrees for about 1.5 to 2 hrs. But the cabbage must be soft for it to be done so give yourself time.
