Deep dark chocolate or fudge cake
5 TBSP flour
1 - 1/4 cups milk
1 - 1/4 cups Crisco (white)
1 stick butter
1 cup granulated sugar
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake in 2 square containers or 2 round containers. Cook flour and milk until thick; cool. Whip together: Crisco, butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Add flour to mixture, beat. Spread in between 2 cakes. Chill for 1/2 hour.

TOPPING:
Melt 3 squares unsweetened chocolate and 1 stick butter. Remove from heat and beat in 1 egg. Add 3 cups powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons hot water, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over chilled cake. Keep cool.
