8 cups water
4 cups apple cider (brown) vinegar
1 cup sugar
½ cup salt
1 cup yellow mustard
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons ground red pepper
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons black pepper
1/3 cup lemon juice
4 diced onions

Simmer above 30 minutes or until onions are done.
Turn heat down.

Add:
64 oz. Heinz ketchup (no other brand)
2 cups Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup liquid smoke

Simmer 1 to 2 hours. Cool.
