1 lb. linguine
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic
Fresh or canned clams, reserve juice
Red pepper flakes
Splash of white wine
Chopped parsley
Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion, add garlic. Sprinkle with red pepper to individual taste. Give it a splash of white wine, add clam juice and clams. If using fresh clams, discard any that do not open.

Sprinkle with parsley and cheese
