1 pound hamburger
1 C onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
16 oz can chili beans
14 oz can tomatoes, crushed
14 oz can tomatoes, diced
8 oz can tomato sauce
8 oz water (more or less depending on thickness)
3 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp basil
salt
pepper
brown sugar (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger in a Dutch oven with onions and garlic. Drain fat. Add chili beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and spices (except brown sugar). Bring to a boil, then let simmer for about an hour, adding brown sugar to taste.
