1 can of chick peas
1 can of cannelloni beans
3/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic diced
salt and pepper
1-2 tablespoons cumin
Juice of one lemon
Chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Drain chickpeas and cannelloni beans (keep liquid)
Put everything (except parsley) in a food processor and begin to process. If too thick, add a little of the liquid from the beans until you have a smooth puree (I like it on the thick side)
Taste and adjust seasoning. ( sometimes a little more lemon or cumin)
Put in a bowl. Sprinkle with parsley
Serve with tortilla strips, or fresh veggies.

The first time I had this, a friend brought it to lunch. We never got to the lunch. We just sat in the kitchen and ate the hummus with tortilla strips. Sooooo delicious. I adapted it a bit from her recipe
