2 lb sirloin, or other meat suitable for stew, cubed
3 potatoes, cubed
6 carrots, cut up
6 stalks of celery, chopped
1 med onion, chopped
2 T tapioca
1 T sugar
1/2 green pepper chopped
1/2 tsp oregano
1 can tomatoes
1 package of onion soup mix

Brown beef cubes in large Dutch oven. Add all other ingredients. Put in oven at 250º, and bake for 4 hours.
