1 box raisins boiled in
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup cold water
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons baking soda scalded in a little water
3 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in water. Add shortening, cold water, and spices. Stir in flour. Pour into greased bundt or tube pan. Bake 1 1/4 hours at 300º
