2 large or 4 small boxes of black cherry Jell-o
8 oz. cream cheese
2 16oz. cans pitted black cherries, halved or quartered

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin into 4 cups of boiling water. Drain cherries and reserve the liquid. Measure the cherry liquid and add enough cold water to make 4 cups of liquid, add to gelatin and mix. Remove 1 cup Jell-o and place in a blender with the cream cheese and beat until smooth. In a 9 x 13 pan, add the gelatin and cherries. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the gelatin (it will rise to the top during chilling period). Chill for several hours.
