8 oz. noodles, cooked and drained
3 T. oil
1 lb. boneless beef chuck, cubed
2 c. onions, thinly sliced
1 T. flour
1 T. paprika
1 can (16 oz.) tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
2 T. butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oil in a deep pan. Add the beef cubes, onions, and flour, and cook until lightly browned. Stir in paprika and cook for 3 minutes. Add the tomato paste, water, salt, sugar, pepper, and bay leaf. Cover and simmer about 1 hour or until meat is tender. Toss the hot noodles with butter or margarine and serve with goulash.
