8 med. baking potatoes, baked (about 4 lbs.)
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 - 16 oz. container sour cream
1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp. chopped fresh chives
1 1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper

Topping:
1 c. Cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 green onions, chopped
1/4 c. chopped chives

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake the potatoes. Cook bacon and crumble; set aside.
Peel potatoes and coarsely mash pulp with a potato masher. Stir in 1 cup Cheddar cheese and next 8 ingredients. Spoon into a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese, bacon, green onions, and chives.
