1 package (3.5 ounce) instant vanilla pudding
1 cup milk
1 box vanilla wafers
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 can (14-ounce) sweetened condensed milk
1 carton (8-ounce) sour cream
4 bananas
1/2 pint whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, mix pudding, condensed milk & milk together for 2 minutes. Refrigerate 5 to 10 minutes. Whip whipping cream. Add whipped cream and sour cream to chilled milk and pudding mix. In a large dish, place layer of vanilla wafers, layer of sliced bananas, 1/2 of mixture and a stream of chocolate syrup on top. Repeat each layer and garnish top with chocolate syrup.

Grammy says this is one of Grandpa's favorite recipes. I found this version of it online, because the copy in their cookbook was almost impossible to read. The ingredients for this appear to be the same, so this should be the same (or close) to the recipe grandpa loved.
