2 cups sugar
2/3 cup can milk or 1 small can Pet evaporated milk
2 tablespoons Karo white corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth)
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, syrup and milk. Bring to a boil slowly. Cook until small amount forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat, add peanut butter and vanilla. DO NOT STIR. Cool to lukewarm. Beat until creamy. Pour into greased pan and completely cool. Cut into squares.
