1 1/4 Cup Flour
1 1/2 Cup Sugar (divided)
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (divided)
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
3/4 Cup Milk
3 Tbl Butter or Margarine (melted)
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla (divided)
1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 3/4 Cups Boiling Water
1 Tbl Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder, and salt in mixing bowl. Add milk, melted butter and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla; stir until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread batter evenly in pan.

In small bowl, whisk together remaining 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa; gradually stir in boiling water and remaining 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Mix well. Carefully pour mixture evenly over batter.

Bake at 350º for 30 - 35 mins or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.

There's a bit of a mystery going on here. For some reason during the baking this batter separates. The cake rises to the top and the cocoa pudding goes to the bottom, forming a delicious sauce.
