1 stick butter (1/4 pound)
4 eggs
1 C. flour
1/2 C. sugar
1 can Hershey chocolate syrup
chopped nuts, optional
Frosting:
1 1/2 C. granulated sugar
3 tbsp.. butter
7 tbsp.. milk
1/2 to 3/4 C. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs - beat after each one. Add flour, pinch of salt; then chocolate syrup and nuts. Bake at 350º in prepared jelly roll pan for 25-30 minutes. Cool.
Make frosting:
Bring sugar, milk, and butter to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Immediately stir in chocolate chips. Continue stirring until spreading consistency. Spread on brownies.
