3C. Sweet Potatoes
1/2 Cup Butter
2/3 Cup White Sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs Beaten
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter, mix together sweet potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, white sugar, vanilla and beaten eggs. Spread in casserole dish. Mix brown sugar, remaining butter, flour and nuts and sprinkle on top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 400F degrees for 30 minutes or until top is brown.

This recipe was adapted from a cookbook grandma O'Kelly had given to us. It is more desert like in nature and has become a family favorite!
