16 Cups Popped Corn

2 Cups Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup White Syrup
2 Sticks Margarine
1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Pop Corn and put into a large stew pot.

On stove mix brown sugar, syrup, margarine and cream of tartar. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Take off heat and add baking soda. Stir carefully (mixture will foam up and is very hot and sticky). Pour over popped corn and mix well with two wooden spoons.

Spray 2 cookie sheet pans with Pam, then dump mixture onto pans and spread out into an even layer.

Put in oven and bake @ 250º for 30 mins.

This is always a favorite at Halloween time. I used to make it and take in car with us as we carted kids around for Trick or Treat.
