1 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. cloves
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. shortening
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. sour milk
1 egg

Directions:
Add egg last - after everything else is in. Spread in greased jelly roll pan and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
