Blanch grape leaves until tender, cool
Cut stems/rough areas

Meat:
1 ½ lbs ground beef or lamb put into bowl
1 ½ cup rice in a separate bowl

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse rice with water until water is clear. Put salt and pepper. Add to beef.
Mix with beef.

Take leaves, wrong side up, add meat and roll. (place one tbsp. stuffing across each leaf, fold end of leaf like an envelope and roll away from you)
Put grape leaves tough on the bottom of a pot. Stage stuffed grapes in rows leaves tightly as close as can snuggly (prevent breakage)
Put dish on top.
Add water to top of plate. Boil on low fire for about 35 minutes.
Boil, add lemon juice to taste – tip pot to add lemon.
Boil for a couple minutes then put on low. Taste broth.
