1 pound mixed fruit
2 cups brown sugar
3 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound seedless raisins
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup hot water
3/4 pound ground pork (unseasoned)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and sugar and spices. Mix with pork; add salt and soda to hot water then add to pork mixture. Add flour. Let raisins soak in water for 30 minutes; drain and add to mixture along with nuts.

Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees in a tube pan. Let cool in pan.

Wrap with cheescloth, soaked with brandy.
