4 strips lean bacon (Use more)
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 medium cans tomatoes (2 pints)
1 tsp. black pepper
4 dashes hot sauce
6 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup catsup
1 can tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
salt
2 lbs. cleaned shrimp

Directions:
Fry bacon and remove from skillet. Cook onion, green pepper and celery in bacon drippings slowly, stirring until done. Add tomatoes (first removing hard cores) and remaining ingredients except shrimp. Bring to a boil, then cut back to simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring often. Add shrimp and cook until shrimp are done.
