1 1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. margarine or butter
1 egg
2 1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. chocolate chips
1 C. canned pumpkin

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, margarine, and egg. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately to creamed mixture with 1 C. canned pumpkin. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350º oven for about 12 minutes.
