French Toast Recipe

2 slices thick bread
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine egg, sugar, milk and vanilla extract in bowl and mix together. Arrange bread in small 8x8 baking dish and pour egg mixture over bread. Lift bread slightly to make sure egg flows to underside of bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Heal griddle to 350 degrees in morning. Cook on each side until deep golden brown. Top with fresh fruit.
