2 lbs. hamburger browned
1 onion chopped
1 1/2 T. onion powder
1 cans chili beans
1 can red kidney beans
1 1/2 T. to 2 T. chili powder for taste
pepper to taste
5 beef bouillon cubes or can use 2 T. powder beef bouillon
3 c. V-8 juice or 3 c. tomato juice or 1/2 of each
1 c. water

Place browned hamburger and onion(remove grease if to much is present), add with other ingredients in large crock-pot. Cook on low heat for about 4 hours. On the stove cook till the mixture boils (stir occasionally) turn down to low heat and cover and let cook for 30 minutes. About 10 servings. Serve with saltine crackers. Add a grill cheese sandwich with it and you have a meal or add sweet corn bread, this goes with this. By sweet I mean use your favorite corn bread recipe and add 1 1/2 T. sugar. Yum.
